For promotion of China-Papua New Guinea trade and economic cooperation, Chinese Embassy in Papua New Guinea, Investment Promotion Authority of Papua New Guinea, Honorary Consulate General of Papua New Guinea in Shanghai, will co-organize the preparing meeting for China-Papua New Guinea economic and trade seminar 2008, on December 12, 2007 in Beijing and on December 14 in Shanghai.
On the occasion, the managing director of Investment Promotion Authority of Papua New Guinea Mr. Ivan Pomaleu and Secretary of Department of Commerce and Industry Mr.Anton Kulit, will introduce the business environment of Papua New Guinea, investment policies, investment items and trade opportunities, including industries of agriculture, fishery, logistic, traveling, manufacture, food, IT and realty. At the same time, representatives of Chinese corporations investing in Papua New Guinea will attend the conference and introduce successful experience of investment.
This conference mainly aims to spread the session of Papua New Guinea-China for economy and trade 2008 in PORT MORESBY, the capital of Papua New Guinea. At that time relevant departments and corporations will head missions to visit.
Time of the conference is initially decided: December 12, 2007, in Beijing, 14 in Shanghai, buffet lunch after the conference.
